World Climate Lab is a real-time planetary climate simulator. Import your own terrain or sculpt a world in the topography editor, then watch a living climate emerge from physics: winds, oceans, cloud bands and ice. Every climate is calculated, not painted.
The developer filed this on the Steam store page. It is not a guess by active.games.
AI was used to help localise languages I do not currently have resources for (Russian, German and Chinese), but will be entirely human by full release once the final UI and text are finalised.

Climate Model choice (Fast / Detailed) and crash fixes (opens in new tab)
Climate Model choice on the welcome screen and in Settings. Fast is the model you had; Detailed adds the deep ocean and takes three to four times longer to settle. Settle starts from the world’s own star, tilt and orbit. Cool-star worlds no longer begin 20 degrees too warm; strongly tilted worlds no longer begin with Earth’s pattern; a world far from balanc…

World Climate Lab 0.1.8 update (opens in new tab)
Fixed worlds with short years are classed as deserts. Rain was counted per month of the planet’s own year, so a planet that circles its star in a few weeks never reached the thresholds for a wet climate, no matter how much it rained. Rain is now measured per Earth month in the climate zones, the Precipitation layer and the yearly total. Earth is unchanged;…
