Public data, and it can be wrong

Names, tags, reviews, player counts, patch notes, and build times come from public Steam sources: store pages, the Steam Web API, and public branch info. Steam does not promise that those feeds are complete. A beta branch only contributes the current build time Steam exposes, not a full history of older builds. A news post can be counted as an update when it is something else, or missed when the wording is unusual. Treat every score as a lead, then confirm it on the store page.

A game is marked AI-disclosed only when the developer filled in Steam's AI Generated Content Disclosure. Games that use generated content and never filed that disclosure are not flagged.

Sponsored placements

If a featured slot is shown, it is labeled Sponsored and the link is rel="sponsored nofollow". The slot is a paid placement. It is not a score, it is not mixed into the ranking queries, and turning it on or off does not move a game up or down the unsponsored lists. The slot is off unless we turn it on.
