The most powerful AI companion on your desktop: it sees your screen, searches the live web, writes your files, opens your apps, reads and replies to your Twitch chat, and remembers every conversation. Runs entirely on your PC: no account, no key, no subscription. Windows only.
The developer filed this on the Steam store page. It is not a guess by active.games.
Desktop Companion uses generative AI: your companion's replies are generated live by a large language model that runs entirely on your own PC. The app ships with its own safety-tuned model; nothing is sent to an external AI service. Built-in, application-level safeguards screen generated content to block prohibited output.
